Manufacturing Engineering Intern - Undergraduate

Interns work directly with our experienced engineers on projects that support our business units. This internship is 15 weeks and begins January 8.

Internship Focus:

Manufacturing Engineering – Projects may involve many aspects of applied manufacturing engineering in the development and fabrication of mechanical, propulsion, structural, fluid and avionics systems. The projects will include the integration of design for manufacturing, test, operations, and materials & processes.
 

 
Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate with at least one quarter of coursework remaining after the internship.
  • Available to work full time for a minimum of 15 weeks while not concurrently enrolled in coursework.
  • Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Desired:

  • Students who have acquired a junior or higher academic standing by the start of the internship are preferred.
  • Relevant internship/co-op and academic project experience that demonstrate development of both technical skills as well as leadership qualities.
  • Hands-on project experience.
  • Experience with manufacturing processes and tools.
  • Flexibility & Adaptability.
  • Ability to work as a part of a team.
  • Passion for space.
