Draftsman / Estimator

AutoCAD Drafter and Estimator needed for position in the West Palm Beach area. Looking for someone with basic knowledge of Autocad that wants to extend their knowledge by creating shop drawings of our different railings and metalwork for new construction as well as wanting to learn to do takeoffs for estimating from blueprints and construction plans.

Great opportunity for someone wanting to get some drafting experience and some experience in the construction industry.

Day to Day Resposabilities
Designing and drawing presentation drawings for customers
Doing take offs for estimates from architectural blueprints
Doing take offs for material from shop drawings


Requirements:
  • Basic AutoCad knowledge

  • Desire and will to learn

  • Ability to work as part of a team and individually on projects

  • A keen eye for detail

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Proven communication skills (English and Spanish - ideally)
