Illustrator/Creative Associate
We are a non-profit, social enterprise located in Boca Raton, FL. We employ women in recovery from substance abuse and teach them how to make products that we sell on Etsy, a global marketplace.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Graphic Illustrator who has a creative spark and enjoys designing for print-on-demand products that will sell like wildfire. Moreover, we are looking for a contractor who can enhance the initiatives of the marketing department and help more women receive a second chance!
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with the marketing manager to understand instructions and specifications and to organize the project accordingly.
- Creates illustrations to be used for brand marketing materials & publications.
- Uses artistic judgment to select appropriate composition, design, and layout for each illustration.
- Ensures the final project addresses project instructions, deadlines, & specifications.
- Maintains accurate records to account for billable time and costs.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- 1-3 years of experience illustrating for print-on-demand or retail companies.
- Ability to render illustrations.
- Ability to accurately and consistently complete work on schedule.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Highly proficient with Procreate & Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Knowledge of digital resolutions and conversion of files for best-quality designs.
