
Manufacturing & Engineering Associate - Full Time
OVERVIEW AND RESPONSIBILITIES

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
The Manufacturing and Engineering Associate (MEA) program is designed to prepare you for both technical and managerial leadership roles within General Mills. You'll make an impact by:
- Building your capability through exposure and ownership of processing, packaging and broad manufacturing systems.
- Being on the front lines of 24/7 food production systems to leverage your problem solving and learning agility; driving improvements and eliminating losses.
- Learning from and Leading Operators, Technicians and Mechanics to grow your coaching, team building and people-development skill set.
- Managing programs to gain experiences of capital project ownership, new system startups and / or initiative leadership.
The fast-paced MEA full-time rotational program consists of 18 months of development, focused on preparing MEAs for technical skills, business partnership and people leadership experiences in both Manufacturing and Engineering. MEAs will be located in one manufacturing plant location for the duration of the program.
This is for a full-time role starting Spring or Summer 2024. Eligible students will be graduating in Winter 2023 or Spring 2024.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in: Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Process Engineering or Biological/Biosystems/Agricultural Engineering
- Qualifications for MEA Milling roles are: Bachelor or Master’s degree in Milling Science or Food Science
