Art Class Assistant

The Woodlands Foundation is a nonprofit organization that serves individuals with disabilities and chronic illnesses. Located on a 52 acre-campus in Wexford, PA, The Woodlands creates barrier-free opportunities for engagement through arts, music, recreation, and more!

We are seeking an ART CLASS ASSISTANT to work in our studio arts program, "Woodlands ART Here," This program meets every Wednesday from 3:30-5:30pm on the Woodlands campus. Art assistants help students work on various art techniques and complete projects while maintaining a safe and positive studio environment. The class is led by Fran Flaherty, renowned Deaf artist and Director of the Dyer Arts Center at RIT.

Paid & unpaid internship credit for this position is available.

Individuals persuing degrees in Studio Arts, OT, PT, Nursing, Premed, Psychology, Special Education, Social Work, Creative Therapies, and many others benefit from the in-person experience this job provides!

Compensation is a flat stipend rate of $50.00 per class.
