Customer Engagement Strategy, Planning, and Integration Intern, Anaheim, Spring 2024

A day in the life…

By applying for this role, you may be considered for a Customer Engagement Strategy, Planning, and Integration Internship supporting Disney Destinations. You can learn the basics of strategic planning throughout the consumer journey including audience targeting, multi-channel tactical media planning, budget management, and asset management and delivery. As part of this team you will:

  • Assist in the development of strategic plans and holistic messaging throughout the consumer journey with all out-bound marketing communications to drive engagement, interest, and conversion among targeted. audiences.  Implement and evaluate test and learn strategies to continually optimize communication effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with both internal and external partners, including Marketing Strategy, Creative, CE Media Strategy and Activation, and agencies to create, implement and evaluate Disneyland Resort Customer Engagement plans.
  • Coordinate program set up such as implementing tracking codes, creative review, testing and reporting as well as other support as needed.
  • Help maintain accurate budgets for all channels and phases of the marketing plans.
  • Monitor, track, and report engagement trends

What we are looking for…
Basic Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with The Walt Disney Company and its products, including Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Line and Disneyland products and services.
  • Demonstrated strategic planning knowledge and passion, including media channels and tactics.
  • Demonstrated Direct Marketing, CRM and social media experience as well as interpreting data and campaign/program results to inform future strategic decisions.
  • Ability to work well with cross-functional teams and prioritize time.
  • Comfortable working with team members at all levels.
  • Demonstrated attentiveness to detail.
  • Experienced in Microsoft PowerPoint (or Keynote), Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables) and the entire Microsoft Office Suite.

Required Education:

  • To be eligible for this internship you must be a senior or a recent graduate (within 6 months of your graduation date) pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Media, CRM or related field.

Compensation:

Additional Information:

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program. 
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization.
  • Must be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines.
  • Must be able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the session.
  • Must have reliable transportation to/from work.
  • Program Length: The approximate dates of this internship are January 2024 – June 2024.
  • Housing: Interns must provide their own housing for the duration of the internship program in Anaheim, CA.
