Engineering Co-op/Intern

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Co-op or Intern to join our dynamic Engineering team. This opportunity offers valuable hands-on experience in the field of engineering within a leading organization.

 

Timeline: Co-op: May - December 2024. Internship: May-August 2024.

 

Important Information to Know: 

  • This will be an in-person, hands-on opportunity
  • Individuals must be authorized to work in the U.S.

What you will do:

  • Engage in the opportunity to select a relevant Engineering project proposal to own and influence 
  • Project proposals may include but not be limited to the following
    • Research and analyze data such as customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine the feasibility of the design or application.
    • Design/test products or systems such as instruments, controls, fan coil, and mechanical, thermal, hydraulic, or heat transfer systems 
    • Work with fabrication of test control apparatus and equipment, and development of methods and procedures for testing products or systems under the direction of assigned engineer.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Sophomore or Junior currently enrolled in an accredited degree program in Aerospace, Mechanical, Industrial, or related major
  • Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues at various levels of the organization
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the opportunity 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Solidworks or related CAD software
  • Experience with LabView, Python, MatLab, or other relevant coding software
  • Exposure Ansys or other FEA software
