About the Position:

Multiple positions are located in the following counties:

• District 1 (Del Norte, Humboldt, Lake and Mendocino Counties)
• District 2 (Lassen, Modoc, Plumas, Shasta, Siskiyou, Tehama, and Trinity Counties)
• District 3 (Butte, Colusa, Glenn, El Dorado, Placer, Nevada, Sacramento, Sierra, Sutter, Yolo and Yuba Counties)

Multiple Transportation Engineer positions may be available in D3/North Region Division of – Project Development, Construction, Traffic, Planning/Local Assistance, Environmental, Maintenance, & PPAM.

The Transportation Engineer performs engineering duties throughout Project Development, Construction, Traffic Operations, Planning/Local Assistance, Environmental, Maintenance and Program/Project & Asset Management. Based on annual workload, delivery commitments, and seasonal needs, incumbent may be assigned by the Department to a variety of positions in an office or field environment. A licensed incumbent at the journey level will be in responsible charge capacity.
