About this role
Carrier is looking for software, electrical, mechanical, systems, and other engineering majors with demonstrated leadership ability and strong academic performance to join our competitive Carrier Engineering Leadership Program (ELP). The ELP offers new graduates an opportunity to deliver impactful contributions to strategic projects through three eight-month rotations across various Carrier business units.
Candidates selected for the program will receive front-line, hands-on, meaningful assignments designed to stretch their capabilities and accelerate their professional development. In addition to the hands-on experience, the program includes high-caliber training, mentorship, and guidance from our diverse team of Carrier executives and program alumni to build a strong and lasting global network of colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
The program offers the opportunity to build technical and leadership skills within a professional, cross-functional environment. In addition, program participants will have exposure to:
- Agile methodologies
- Change management
- Customer engagement
- Executive presence and communications
- Project management
- Product development and management
ELP rotation locations can include Syracuse, NY; Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Indianapolis, IN; Beverly, MA; and Athens, GA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, software, electrical, systems, or other relevant engineering fields
- 3.0 or higher GPA
- A minimum of one prior internship or co-op experience in a related field
- Applicant must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Willing to rotate and relocate to US offices over the course of the two-year program
- Less than one year full-time professional work experience
- Ability to start position on Leadership Program start date in June 2024
