Job Description

You will be assigned Quality engineering team that is focused on solving critical customer problems.   You will work with cross functional engineering teams from R&D, manufacturing, and procurement.  The assignments will allow you to work in a cross functional team that is developing our newest products.  As an Intern, you will apply your coursework knowledge to a focused hands-on project. At the same time, you will gain and apply knowledge about Keysight's products and technologies in your assignment.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with teams to solve customer quality issues
  • Build and maintain close relationships with; Quality Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, and Production teams.
  • Analyze data to find prioritize customer problems.
  • Use knowledge of materials, physics, and engineering to understand technical problems.
  • Find a balance between customer satisfaction and financial impact to Keysight.
  • Actively participate in reliability improvement teams

Qualifications

 

Job Qualifications

  • Current student enrolled in Material Science, Statistics, Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering. 
  • Completed Junior-level coursework.
  • Excellent teamwork skills, commitment to task, creativity in problem solving
  • Ability to work collaboratively to solve difficult technical problems           
  • Initiative to organize teams to solve quality problems
  • Ability to convey complex ideas clearly and succinctly

Desired Experience:

  • Familiarity with Quality Engineering tools: Six Sigma, Lean, Basic Quality and Process Improvement Tools,
  • Experience working on problem solving teams
  • Proficient in analyzing data and presenting results

Keysight Internship Program Requirements

Candidates who wish to be considered must be currently enrolled in a accredited college/university as of September 2024. Applicants who have graduated before September 2024 will not be considered unless they are starting a MS or PHD program after graduating.

 

Visa Sponsorship is not available for this position. Candidates who now or at any point in the future require sponsorship for employment (Not Internship) visa status (e.g., H-1B Visa status) may not be considered.

 

California Pay Range: $25.50 - $33.31 

Based on experience, education and skills, most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed above.

 

Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region.
