Gotham Writers Workshop seeks part-time Social Media Interns to create fun videos for Instagram and TikTok

Gotham Writers Workshop is seeking Social Media Interns to join our team creating videos for Instagram and TikTok. This promises to be a fun opportunity to express your creativity while sharing the joys of books, movies, and creative writing!

These part-time internships are 100% remote, and to our interns we’re offering FREE writing classes online or in New York City.

Tasks associated with the position include developing video ideas, writing copy, finding images and/or shooting video, and basic editing.

Supervision and regular feedback is provided by the creative director in charge of the initiative.  

Learning outcomes for the position include the ability to conceive, communicate, produce, edit, and evaluate short videos.  This process teaches idea generation strategies, project management, collaboration, as well as self-reflection and evaluation regarding outcomes.
