Quality Engineering Intern- Summer 2024

Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Summer 2024 Quality Engineering Intern in our Cedar Rapids, Iowa location as part of the Power Products Line of Business. The Quality Engineering Intern will work directly with the Customer Advocate Engineers and focus on process improvement opportunities for the returned product analysis process. This will be a full-time position during June-August 2024. 

What will you do?

• Work with Customer Advocate Engineers and GSC Quality department to learn the return product analysis process
• Review key steps of the process, define/implement opportunities for improvement
• Document troubleshooting processes with support of Customer Advocate Engineers
• Additional projects will be reviewed

What qualifications will make you successful? 

• Enrolled in a technical degree program (preferably Engineering, Data Science, etc.)
• Self-motivated and strong attention to detail
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Experience with use of Microsoft Office platform (Outlook, Excel)
• Previous experience with reporting and automation tools
