Digital Content Marketing Internships: NYC - Spring 2024

Your New Role 

We have multiple Digital Content Marketing opportunities available. By applying to this posting, you will be considered for all internship opportunities within this area. These internships will be located in the NYC area. The selected interns will be expected to join us in the office on a regular cadence based on the intern managers in office schedule. 

This could include, but is not limited to: 

  • Digital Content Specialist Intern: NY - Spring 2024
  • Food Network Convergent Intern: NY - Spring 2024
  • Digital Innovation Intern: NY - Spring 2024

 

Your Role Accountabilities 

Duties could include: 

  • Participating in creative brainstorm sessions to develop unique video content
  • Developing the strategic roadmap and execution of Creator-hosted studio shoots
  • Finding creative methods for repurposing content from linear TV shows
  • Developing, shooting and editing original video content
  • Creating and managing influencer content delivery timelines and production schedules
  • Learning how a robust digital and social team develops, creates and programs original content in the social media space
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of content delivery including routing for internal and legal reviews, delivering creative feedback, aligning on publishing dates with Programming, filing tickets, suggesting copy, tracking live links and assisting in reporting

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience working on social and/or creator marketing for a media or entertainment brand
  • Strong creative writing skills and boasts proficiency in Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Excellent grasp of grammar and copywriting for social.
  • Video shooting on iphone or other cinema camera
  • Video editing skills required
  • Adobe Photoshop experience is required - video editing experience in Adobe Premiere is a plus
  • Knowledge with creating content for social media platforms including posting and writing
  • Be a quick learner and a critical thinker with superior attention to detail, and be willing and able to manage his or her time while juggling multiple projects at once
  • Respect the sensitive nature of our business and abide by internal confidentiality
  • Familiarity with social trends and pop culture
  • Experience with excel and other basic office software

And finally, what to know before applying: 

The duration of the program is 11 weeks  Program dates: 

  • Start Date: January 29th 
  • End Date: April 19th  

Interns will be expected to work 16-24 hours per week in a hybrid capacity.  

 

Our internships are paid opportunities with a competitive hourly wage. Credit is not required; however, we will provide the necessary documentation for school credit if desired. Relocation is not provided.  

Interviewing will take place from October through mid-December. A WBD team member will contact you if your experiences and interests match an open internship position. Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to give individual status updates. 

 

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The rate listed is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Rate: $19 per hour USD for undergrad interns, $25 per hour USD for graduate level interns.
