Your New Role
House of Highlights is a key part of the Bleacher Report/Turner Sports portfolio, representing one of the most influential media brands for the Gen-Z audience. With over 75 Million followers, HoH is the heartbeat of the Gen Z sports fan, who gravitate to the brand because of its authentic voice which remains celebratory, relatable and inclusive. Everything HoH does -- from the original content we create, to our collaborations with leagues, creators and brands, to the viral clips we curate from across the world -- aligns with these 3 core brand pillars, and it has created a connection with fans that feels more like a close friend than an inaccessible brand or publisher.
Your Role Accountabilities
Curate content from multiple sources to post on our social accounts, with a primary focus on NBA coverage and TikTok.
Primarily responsible for surfacing, curating, packaging and distributing various types of social content, including captions.
Qualifications & Experience
Deep understanding of TikTok-native and IG-native content, trends and creators
Deep understanding and passion for NBA, NBA Twitter and basketball culture
A strong understanding of House of Highlights‚ voice and brand
Experience with social content discovery and an interest in emerging social platforms
A fast learner and has ideas and isn‚t afraid to share them or push the HoH voice in new exciting directions.
Fluent in all things NBA and demonstrated experience programming on TikTok, including editing.
Must be actively enrolled in a U.S. accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required)
Must be a rising Junior, Senior or Graduate Student (18 years or older)
Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above GPA)

The duration of the program is 11 weeks
Program dates:
Start Date: January 29th
End Date: April 19th
Interns will be expected to work 16-24 hours per week in a hybrid capacity.
Our internships are paid opportunities with a competitive hourly wage. Credit is not required; however, we will provide the necessary documentation for school credit if desired. Relocation is not provided.
Interviewing will take place from October through mid-December. A WBD team member will contact you if your experiences and interests match an open internship position. Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to give individual status updates.
In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The rate listed is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Rate: $19 per hour USD for undergrad interns, $25 per hour USD for graduate level interns.

The Legal Bits…
In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skillset, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $35,360 - $25,688.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
