Responsibilities:

Provide HVAC Engineering Design services for commercial and industrial buildings. Coordinate with other disciplines and the Architect. Meet with the Architect to establish the project requirements and parameters. Ability to take a project from initial design through construction completion. Responsible for the total production of a set of HVAC construction documents for a given project.

 

Job Functions:

  • Production engineer to design HVAC systems for new and existing buildings.
  • Design of HVAC systems construction documents in Autocad 2021 and willingness to learn REVIT.
  • Preparation of space take offs and cooling load calculations resulting in HVAC equipment selections.
  • Design of air distribution systems including ductwork design, etc.
  • Coordination directly with the owner, architect, structural engineer and electrical engineer as needed to properly design the project.
  • Perform field visits to verify existing HVAC systems for reuse/renovation of existing buildings.
  • Perform field visits during construction to review installed HVAC systems.
  • Design of Energy Efficient HVAC systems - LEED or Green Building.
