Civil/Structual Engineer

Pistorino & Alam Consulting Engineers, Inc. (P&A) is seeking for a Civil/Structural Engineers to join our team. At P&A, you will be working on challenging projects and ways to provide technical solutions.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

 · Preforming inspections during constructions and restoration

Candidate with also be trained in following:

· Conduct field investigations and analyze failures involving a variety of structures within residential and commercial properties

· Determine the cause, origin, and extent of structural failures, water intrusions, roof damage, construction defects, and building system failures

·  Serve as an expert witness in court and/or in depositions

· Evaluations may include foundation settlement investigations, structural assessments, site evaluations, and sub-surface investigations among others.

· Analyze failures in buildings and other infrastructure systems by conducting site visits and applying engineering principles and practices in accordance with codes and industry standards

· Conduct unbiased investigations for a variety of clients

· Prepare reports documenting causes of failure, the extent of loss, and recommended remediation

Education/Qualifications:

·        B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
