Our Strategy and Technology Engineering team is accelerating Carrier's sustainability leadership position in the market through investments in advanced research, technologies, and methods that will shape the future of our products and services. As a co-op, you will help drive the data analytics to achieve our sustainability goals and metrics. This Co-Op will run from May 2024 to December 2024.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze the energy and carbon footprint of Carrier's HVAC&R systems.
  • Create data visualizations and written reports to communicate analyses to various
  • stakeholders regarding corporate target-setting
  • Support with analyses of trends on corporate emission reduction targets reported through
  • All partner organizations and the Science Based Targets initiative
  • General technical, operational, and administrative support as needed

 

Required Qualifications

  • Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field   
  • 3.0 or higher GPA  
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of refrigeration products (preferred but not required)
  • Ability to solve challenging and complex customer requests 
  • Knowledgeable in CAD system 
  • Relevant internships or co-op experiences referred
  • Must be geographically mobile
