Social Media/Special Project Manager (Marketing Position)

Seeking highly motivated individual with a passion for marketing; driven by achieving goals and building quality marketing and social media to enhance customer relationships and promote the company and culture. This position may involve travel with the Sales Team, travel is not required, although it is beneficial to the position (Chicago, Orlando, Dallas, Las Vegas, Park City- for example) 

We are an Ad Specialties (marketing through promotional products) Supplier! Taking company marketing campaigns and branding and applying to a variety of custom, made-to-order products. We take pride in our diverse workforce. We are an authorized Disney factory and create custom marketing pieces and art for companies )such as Samsung, Disney, NFL teams, SmashBurger, Nintendo, US Open, T-Mobile, law offices, sporting events, concerts, and everyone in between).  Our priority is on Concierge level customer service, educating and enhancing our distributors' ability to promote and sell our products and services (such as NFC wearable items or creative art services). 

We create the products and ideas, and our Distribution network allows us an extremely wide variety of companies to work with on projects. 

We are seeking someone motivated and innovative to: assist in planning and setting up Trade Shows, Executive Meetings, Email Marketing, Creating Content for Social Media and Website, Developing Marketing Ideas and Execution- Having fun and being creative are required! (examples of position responsibilities)

Job Purpose: Orchestrating and optimizing marketing initiatives, ensuring that they align with organizational goals and are executed successfully. This role requires a combination of project management skills, marketing knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and create comprehensive project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resources required for successful project execution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing teams, creative teams, and other relevant departments, to ensure seamless communication and coordination. Establish and manage project timelines, ensuring that all tasks and milestones are met on schedule.  Identify potential risks and challenges that may impact project delivery and develop strategies to mitigate or address them. Ensure that marketing projects meet high-quality standards and align with the overall marketing strategy and brand guidelines.  Maintain clear and consistent communication with team members, company owners, and other relevant parties to keep them informed about project progress.  Address and resolve issues and roadblocks that may arise during the course of a project, adapting plans as needed to ensure successful completion.  Provide regular reports on project status, performance metrics, and key learnings. Conduct post-project analysis to identify areas for improvement.  Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, tools, and technology, to support project objectives.  Coordinate production and logistics of materials for marketing events like tradeshows and sales networking events.  Evaluate the success of marketing campaigns against predetermined goals and key performance indicators.  Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing project management. 

 Qualifications: 

Educational Background:  A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.

Project Management Skills:  Strong project management skills, including the ability to create and manage project plans, allocate resources effectively, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Marketing Knowledge:  A solid understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics is a must. This includes knowledge of best practices for email and social media marketing, marketing automation, traditional marketing, and managing various marketing channels.  Tradeshow experience a plus!

Communication Skills:  Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for conveying project requirements, updates, and strategies to team members and stakeholders as well as for providing relevant and engaging copy in marketing campaigns.

Leadership Abilities:  The ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams is important.

Analytical Skills:  Analytical abilities to assess marketing campaign performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.

Problem-Solving Skills:  Strong problem-solving skills are valuable for addressing challenges that may arise during project execution and finding innovative solutions.

Detail-Oriented:  Attention to detail while overseeing the various components of marketing projects and ensuring that quality standards are met.

Technology Proficiency:  Familiarity with project management tools, marketing automation software, and other relevant technologies.

Collaboration and Interpersonal Skills:  A strong capacity to work effectively with a diverse team, fostering a collaborative and positive working environment.

Time Management:  Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Creative Thinking:  Must have an ability to think creatively and contribute innovative ideas to marketing strategies and campaigns.

Experience Level:  Minimum 2-3 years in marketing project management or related project management field.

Technology and Tools: Must be familiar with Microsoft 360 suite of programs.  Basecamp, Canva, and Illustrator experience is a plus.
