Location: Orlando, FL | Tampa, FL | Gainesville, FL  (40 hours a week)

We are currently seeking a Planning student for our summer Get Inspired Internship in Orlando, FL. Do you have a passion for designing great places, safe streets, and thriving communities? Is collaboration an integral part of your design process? Inspire is an interdisciplinary collective of landscape architects, planners, and designers in support of public and private sector projects throughout the Southeast.

Our Planning team has a particular focus on the following project types:

  • Comprehensive Planning
  • Community Redevelopment Planning
  • Economic Development
  • Master Planning
  • Land Development Code Writing

What we’re looking for: We’re looking for a student currently enrolled in an AICP accredited Urban/City Planning degree program who has the following qualifications:

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with professionals from different disciplines and levels of experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, Adobe CC experience a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • GIS experience preferred
  • Organized, innovative, and ambitious
  • Commitment to learning new skills, programs, and processes
  • Able to take constructive feedback and make quick and efficient edits
  • Some local travel may be required

This position is eligible for our flexible hybrid work schedule on Mondays and Fridays.
