Engineering Intern (onsite)

Job Overview

We are currently looking for an Engineering Intern to join our team in Conover, NC.

Be a part of a group of cross-functional interns learning about the entire scope of business with weekly knowledge series events. You will be paired with a senior-level professional and will have responsibility for both daily tasks and projects.

 

As an Engineering Intern, you will:

Participate in a carefully designed internship program that will provide you with meaningful work and learning opportunities. You will learn about Haworth, meet other interns, and participate in workshops to develop your communication, presentation, and networking skills.

You will also have an opportunity to work with multiple functional groups within the Engineering Department assisting with a variety of other projects and assignments.

Do you have these required qualifications?

  • Part-time or full-time college enrollment, working towards a bachelor’s degree in Engineering with at least a junior-level status by Fall of 2024.
  • Ability to work in Conover, NC from May 2024 to August 2024 without relocation or housing assistance.
  • A current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Do you have these preferred qualifications?

  • Overall GPA of 2.95 or higher
  • Prior Haworth Experience
  • Previous Employment Experience
  • Extra-Curricular Activity Experience such as athletics, clubs, volunteer work, etc.
  • SAP Software preferred.

 

Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Working knowledge of personal computers, spreadsheet applications and keyboard skills.
  • Desire to learn, question, and research solutions to problems.
  • Organized with the ability to manage deadlines.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
