Engineering Intern - Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical

Gas Turbine Efficiency has specialized in designing and fabricating process control skids for power plants in domestic and foreign markets for over 25 years.

This position would work from our Orlando office off of 528. The weekly hours are flexible ranging from a minimum of 20 hours per week to as high as 30 hours per week depending on individual's schedule. The position will report directly to the Engineering Manager. 

A mechanical and chemical engineer intern would be expected to develop general arrangement drawings, P&IDs, BOMs, and 3D models using Solidworks or NX. May also require work on process design reviews (e.g., sizing of pumps, heat exchangers, velocity through pipes, etc.).

An electrical engineer intern will would be expected to develop wiring diagrams, control panel layout drawings, BOMs, and 2D models using AutoCAD.

This position would also be expected to lead special facility projects, including inventory and CAD library management projects, general office tasks i.e., copying and scanning documents, generating customer documentation, and validating the accuracy of customer drawings to coordinate build-to-print shop packages.
