Geotechnical/Survey Engineering Intern

We are seeking highly-motivated interns to join our Geotechnical Engineering Discipline for Summer 2024 in our Boca Raton, FL and Fort Myers, FL office.

Responsibilities:

• Our interns will assist technical staff on day-to-day projects.
• Read and review project drawings and plans.
• Use Geosystems and ArcGIS Pro software under the direction of Engineers.
• Observe project sites and evaluate contractors’ work to detect problems with a design.
• Prepare reports and document project activities and data.
• Prepare analyses from collected data.
• Set up and help maintain project files and records.
• In addition to the work-centered program, we also offer robust internship programming, which includes opportunities to work with other interns, learn about other areas of the business, and develop valuable communication skills and networking connections.

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
• Interest in Geotechnical Engineering.
• Must have reliable transportation to the office and project sites.
• Basic understanding of ArcGIS preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Possess solid problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to work in a high-paced environment.
• Strong computer literacy, to include MS Office.
