Project Engineer Intern
If you are looking for an educational internship/Co-Op opportunity that provides a variety of on-the-job training while working side by side with a dynamic and cohesive team that supports your development, we have what you are looking for. Your role as a Project Engineer includes assisting the project team on a construction management project while gaining experience in both office and construction work site environments. During your internship, you will also be exposed to preconstruction work, including estimating bidding and proposal preparation for upcoming projects.
What you’ll do:
- Write and post RFI’s.
- Review and process submittals.
- Document management.
- Subcontractor coordination.
- Safety administration.
- Punchlist completion.
- Check material/product delivery.
- Permit and inspection cleanup/closeout.
- Involve with Sub meetings.
What you'll need:
- Currently enrolled in a Construction Management or Engineering program.
Preferred Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and cultivate strong relationships.
- Confident self-starter with high attention to detail and exceptional organization skills.
- Prior internships or work experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
