Description: Assist Manufacturing Engineers with all aspects of their daily routines.
Key Tasks:

  • PPAP Project Support
  • Conduct troubleshooting studies for machinery and quality issues
  • 8D project studies
  • Documentation updates (system & floor)
  • SPC studies
  • Plant floor layout design
  • Time Studies and Process Cycle Time Improvements
  • Redesign machine components
  • Document Preparation and design (Work Standards, Control Plans, Process Documentation)
  • Gaging - CPK Studies
  • OEE & Process Standards
  • Machining Capability Improvements
  • Tolerances
  • Reduce process variation
Education Requirements Include:
 
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related field with a minimum GPA of 2.5/4.0.
Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to reliably commute our Bellwood, IL plant (not remote)
  • Experience showing mechanical aptitude a plus
  • Excellent communication skills required - oral and written
  • Good multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to drive for results is essential
  • Ability to do logical problem solving
  • Basic understanding of engineering principles
  • Willingness and desire to learn.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team setting.
  • Computer literacy is necessary
  • Time Management Skills
