Theatricals Marketing Intern

The Marketing team is a group of passionate, creative individuals whose chief objectives are to promote our titles and authors, create brand strategy for the company, and celebrate those who make theatre happen. Their work is executed through content strategy on all marketing channels, such as website, social media, email communication, print and digital advertisements, events, conferences and more.

 

As the Theatricals Marketing Intern, you will have an immersive and educational experience into the world of a marketing department for a theatrical company and major global entertainment brand.

 

Our paid internship program will give you a unique opportunity to enhance your professional skillset, increase your knowledge of the industry, and expand your network. Our goal is to help you develop your talents as well as receive dedicated mentorship and support. Our Summer Internship Program will run from Tuesday, June 4th  – Friday, August 16th and allows interns to work up to a maximum of 20 hours per week. This internship is a paid in-person opportunity and requires the ability to work in the specified office location. 

Responsibilities

What you'll do: 

  • Support the department’s title promotion efforts through content brainstorm, creation and publication on all marketing channels
  • Assist with content management and playlist creation of the full Concord Theatricals Recordings catalog
  • Brainstorm social media strategy and execute other marketing needs for the Off Off Broadway Short Play Festival, which takes place in August 2024
  • Support the Marketing team as necessary on all projects

Qualifications

What you'll need: 

  • Strong analytic skillset 
  • Must be an excellent communicator with strong writing abilities
  • Ability to maintain organization across multiple projects
  • Passionate about Theatricals and the collections under Concord
  • Knowledge or study in Marketing, PR, Advertising, etc.
  • Experience with graphic design (Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva) preferred, but not required
  • This internship is a part-time paid internship and requires someone located in/near New York City 
  • The timeline of this internship program runs from Tuesday, June 4th  – Friday, August 16th You must be able to work 20 hours/week. 

 

The hourly rate for this position is $16.78
