Landscape Designer / Estimator / Office Assistant

Position Overview

  • Full-time, year-round position (hours may fluctuate seasonally)
  • Guaranteed base salary (TBD based on incoming experience)

Requirements;

  • 2 Years landscape design experience (professional or college study)
  • Experienced with landscape design programs such as Pro Landscape, AutoCAD, photoshop, Sketchup, etc.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Experience with Quickbooks (preferred)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Able to collaborate with project manager and crew members to aid in implementation of Landscape designs
  • Knowledge of ornamental plants including growth habits and maintenance requirements for this region
  • Knowledge of a wide variety of landscape materials including mulch, natural stone, edging, retaining walls, pavers, etc.
  • Experienced with creating accurate estimates combing labor, plant, and material costs
  • Able to visit jobsites to oversee and aid in site layout, bed marking, accurate installation, oversee installation crews, adjust plant placement as needed, etc.
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to multi-task, while remaining focused and meeting deadlines
  • Independent, motivated, self-starter
  • Equally able to work independently, and with a team
  • Punctual and dependable
  • General clerical experience including typing, data entry, filing, and organizational skills
