Under the direction and supervision of a Senior Landscape Arch, the Landscape Associate will provide a full range of professional landscape architectural duties such as planning, design, and contract document preparation pertaining to public art, enhanced landscaping, site furnishings, livability and other complete streets elements.
We support the Department’s goals including; safety and health, stewardship and efficiency, sustainability, livability and economy, system performance and organizational excellence in the products we design and value integrity, commitment, teamwork and innovation in the workplace.
The incumbent may be assigned by the Supervisor to be a lead-worker to train, direct, and manage the work of other staff within the assigned branch. The incumbent will also be required to handle multiple tasks concurrently. As the incumbent progresses in experience, assignments will increase from average to high difficulty. The multiple ranges of Landscape Associates are intended to provide recognition of assignment variety and complexity, increasing proficient/technical knowledge, skills and experience.
