Mechanical Engineering Intern
Internship Summary
While interning at Boar’s Head you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with real projects. In addition to working on live projects, you will also have the opportunity to participate in lunch in learns hosted by our Head of Learning and Development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- The intern would take a developmental role with Engineering Standards and creating an Engineering Sharepoint that would function as an Engineering Resource for equipment.
- The Mechanical Intern could also follow a project to learn project management skills and the basis for successful project completion.
- Assist with mechanical lifecycle management
Education and Experience
- Currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor's degree in Engineering or a recent graduate of a similar program
- Experience working with Autocad and Geometric Tolerancing/Drawings
- Strong Project Management Skills
- Working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Demonstrated clear communication skills
- Ability to manage assigned tasks and small projects per scope and timeline
- Organized with a task and deadline-oriented mindset
- Excellent attention to detail
