College Intern - Engineering

This position involves learning routine engineering tasks and assisting in engineering, data collection, helping to writing work orders, and working with work necessary software programs.   Additionally, this position will work on special projects assigned by the Supervisor and Team Lead. Work is performed under the direction of a supervisor or senior engineering technicians and checks upon completion to ensure quality, accuracy, and completeness.
 
 This internship is with Lakeland Electric ED Engineering located at 501 East Lemon Street in Lakeland, FL. Interns can work up to 29 hours per week. This internship will begin in May.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS

• Assist in data collection
• Perform administrative tasks to assist the Energy Deliver Engineering team in writing work orders
• Work on Special Projects assigned by Supervisor and Team Lead
• Ability to use Maximo, Schneider designer software, and Visual for Photometrics
