Quality Engineering Intern
QUALITY ENGINEERING INTERN
20 to 40 hours per week
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Creates and updates Quality Instructions formats and Standard Operation Procedures.
* Supports the implementation of preventive and corrective actions.
* Provides support to manufacturing in final inspection on some specialized parts. Documents inspection outcomes.
* Analyze data to monitor critical-to-quality variables and evaluate current processes.
* Analyzes working environment and proposes improvements to management.
* Works safely and report any safety concerns to management.
* Other activities as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* Currently enrolled in an associate's, bachelor's, or master's degree program in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
* Excellent verbal/written communication skills. Ability to analyze data is necessary. Great attention to detail. Must be a team player and have the ability to work well with others.
* Computer skills: Microsoft Office competency is a requirement.
* Preferred: Ability to interpret technical drawings and use precision measuring tools, i.e., calipers, micrometers, tapes, snap gauges, etc. Familiar with the metric system for measurement.
