Project Engineer

Project Engineers will have the opportunity to work alongside and learn from either a Project Executive or Superintendent both in the field as well as in the office on one of our multi-million-dollar construction projects. Project Engineers will also participate in CBG’s rotation program which will allow the employee to work in several operational areas throughout the company including preconstruction, project management, field operations, and BIM/virtual design.

Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day administration of construction operations including contract administration, scheduling, quality control, subcontractor oversight, client relations, and maintaining project documents including submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, punch lists, and correspondence. 
  • Estimating, scoping, and administration of subcontracts and change orders. Conducting weekly progress meetings and assisting superintendents with daily reports, job safety records, inspections, and material deliveries.
  • Coordinating and supervising work to assure all work is put in place in compliance with planned sequence, schedule, jurisdictional requirements, and the contract documents.

Experience and Qualifications: The ideal candidate has an undergraduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, building science, or a degree in a related discipline. We are looking for candidates that demonstrate the following:
