Facilities Maintenance Manager

This role provides technical and leadership to the facilities maintenance team to drive actions to keep the facility and utilities of the site up to codes and standards. Ensures the upkeep of the equipment and facilities, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory standards, and company sustainability commitments. Drives continuous improvement and reliability in facilities systems and equipment.

- Facilities Maintenance Management
- This role ensures that facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained, while managing a team of maintenance staff and coordinating with other functions to support operational needs.
- Develop and implement strategic goals and objectives for the department.
- Team Supervision
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all facilities.
- Ensure timely and effective completion of maintenance and repair task.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address needs.
- Drive engagement of the facilities and utilities team.
- Provide on-going training and development.
- Budgeting and Cost Control
- Oversee the execution of facility and utility maintenance and adhere to the annual budget.
- Forecast cost based on site needs and annual activities. Manage gap plan if ever off track.
- Safety, Compliance, and Validation
- Ensure all facilities and utilities activities comply with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Owns designing, executing, and maintaining facilities and utilities validations within the site.
- Conduct safety training and regular safety audits.
- Vendor Management
- Source and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Order and maintain inventory of necessary supplies and equipment.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and safety.
- Facilities Improvement Projects
- Manage sustainability (energy, water, and carbon neutral) initiatives to reduce costs and environmental impact.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including within site and external to site.
- Stay updated with the latest engineering technologies and safety practices.

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering in a facilities management or a similar role.
- Strong leadership skills, In-depth knowledge of engineering principles and safety regulations.
- Experience managing a team and coordinating maintenance activities. Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools (BMS, Scada system, CMMS / SAP-PM, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of building systems (Boilers, Chillers Systems and HVAV, Compressed Air, Electrical Substations, Generators, Water Purification, and Wastewater Treatment.)
- Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities
- Experience utilizing continuous improvement tools, such as lean, TPM, 6-Sigma, DMAIC, RCA, FMEA, cause and effect diagrams
Preferred Qualifications:

- 6-Sigma black belt preferred

The salary range for this role is: $104,460 to $143,633 annually
