Management Development Program Participant

Primary Purpose of this position:

The Management Development Program Participant-Supply Chain and Operations, engages in a structured, 12-24 month immersive program designed to cultivate both leadership potential and operational expertise. Through hands-on experience in various departments of a manufacturing facility, participants develop a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and engages with cross-functional teams to optimize productivity and quality. This role aims to accelerate growth into a strategic leadership position, equipping the skills and insights necessary to contribute to our company's innovation and success.

 

What you will be responsible for:

Consistently and rigorously adhere to all safety and environmental practices, policies and procedures.

Understand and safely operate each piece of key equipment in a manufacturing facility in a 3-6 week rotation per machine, working full time alongside a production crew.

Rotate through each support department (engineering, maintenance, operational excellence, quality, human resources, etc.) in the manufacturing facility and understand the role and importance of each.

Understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures.

Understand the relationship of safety, operational excellence, quality, productivity, and profitability.

Engage in a structured professional development curriculum related to leadership, BID (Belonging, Inclusion, & Diversity), business acumen, financial acumen, communication, project management, data analysis, and strategic planning

Participate as a cohort with other MDP participants in specific structured learning experiences both virtual and in person throughout the duration of the 12 to 24 month experience.

Travel to Colorado for structured visit to corporate headquarters.

Participate in weekly/monthly meetings as needed.

Complete data analysis and assessment projects.

 

What we are looking for:

  • Currently pursuing and enrolled to complete a bachelors degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management or related discipline in an accredited University or College. Applicants must be set to graduate in May of 2025. 
  • Minimum of 1 year or less in an internship program with a manufacturing company
  • Commitment to following safety protocols
  • Willingness to work a rotating crew-shift schedule of 12 hour shifts, rotating between day shifts and night shifts
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Interest in working in a manufacturing environment
  • Results-oriented, growth mindset, flexible
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Commitment to creating belonging and inclusion in a diverse workplace 
  • Company and product knowledge
  • Ability and willingness to relocate to other U.S. manufacturing plants upon completion of the program.
